I sympathise with Jack because he was poor and had a tough life . He sold his cow for magic beans because he wanted to have something better . Like people with only a few bucks left still buys lottery tickets because they are hoping that there will be something much better . He resorts to stealing because he is desperate and poor . However , we should not steal because it is morally wrong .

I symptathise The Giant because he is just a giant . Giants have pea brains . Though he may look scary , he has actually a gentle heart . He may eat boys , but that is what he eats . Thats how the author made him to be . He cannot choose to eat other things . And everytime ,Jack comes to house , Jack steals something without The Giant knowing . The Giant cannot choose to have a bigger brain rather than a pea-sized brain . causing him to lose his money bag , his hen which lays golden eggs and his talking harp . He just wanted to get all his items back and unfortunately , fell to his death . Therefore , I sympathise him .

Do you sympathise with the Joker ?

I sympathise with the Joker . Though he may have scars on his face and may look scary , he had a difficult , tramautising past and background . The source of the scars are not clear , as he repeats about two versions about the scars . The first version he told the crime lord Gambol , was about his father being drunk and abusing his mother . One night , his father started abusing his mother while he , terrified , sat in a corner . His father saw him cowering and ask “ Why so serious ? “ which was one of Joker’s trademark lines , and started to cut The Joker’ s face in the shape of the smile . Because of this incident , the scars made him deeply tramautised and mentally unstable . This was his difficult past and an unhappy family .

The second version about the scars he told Rachel Dawes , about his wife being cut up but had no money to go under surgery due to the cost . He then took a razor blade and cut his mouth to prove that he does not care about scars and how he wanted to “ see her smile again “ . However , she hated the sight of him . He said no matter how much he missed her , he would always be smiling . This showed that he really cared for his wife , and was not heartless , like people thought he was .

What he tell may be fake , just a story he made up . Even if he made up the story , it was most probably because he was lonely , and he had no friends because of his looks . No one is bad at heart . It is what you choose to be or what you were influenced by . Hence , I really sympathise with the Joker .

What did I learn from this lesson ?

Because of The Joker's tramautising past and his appearances , he has no friends and was very lonely . He should be sympathised because of his tramautising past and not looked down at or has no friends . As he was tramautised , he starts to kill the innocent . We should not avoid people because of his appearance . Instead , we should build him up and make sure he does not feel left out . Though it may be hard as he was deeply tramautised , we should always try our best and make every effort . I think that Joker is just lonely , hence he do all the bad things .
